THE governments of 191 countries shut down all its primary and secondary schools as of April 15 in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

An estimated 1.6bil students were affected by the closures, according to the McKinsey & Company ‘School-system Priorities in the Age of Coronavirus’ report.
