Nurturing creativity: The newspaper as a home learning resource

DEPUTY Education Minister (1) Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon stressed on the importance of parents playing their part in guiding their children in online learning amid the movement control order (MCO).

The fact that this is a time when students are not able to go to school, parents play an active role in ensuring their children continue to learn even while being forced to stay at home. Understanding the difficulty that might be faced by some parents due to the limitations of online learning facilities in some homes, it’s time for parents to get creative and look towards other resources available in the home, that can engage and motivate their young ones to learn at home.
