ONG Paul Sherng’s invention differentiates cancerous and healthy cells, and has won him second prize at the Taiwan International Science Fair held earlier this month.
“It would greatly reduce the risk of having cancerous cells left behind post-surgery, ” says the 16-year old Form Four student from Chung Ling Private High School in Penang.
