STUDENTS who have received offers to enter public universities for the 2018/2019 academic year, need to register from Aug 25 to Sept 4.
The result of the applications for admission are for students with Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM), Matriculation and Foundation qualifications, the Education Ministry said in a statement on Monday.
A total of 3,800 candidates with a CGPA of 4.0 have received offers to enter public universities.
Official offer letters will be issued by the respective universities to successful candidates from Aug 1 and they have until Aug 10 to accept their offers, it said.
All decisions are final, the ministry added, and appeals to exchange courses will not be entertained or allowed.
The selection of an appeal is subject to vacancies according to study programmes after the registration of new students are complete.
Offer letters and acceptance of the offers can be printed from the websites of the respective institutions, the ministry said.
Those who did not receive any offer are allowed to appeal via UPUOnline at http://upu.mohe.gov.my, which will be open from noon on July 31 until 11.59pm on Aug 6.
The decision of the appeals will be announced on Aug 27 and Sept 14, the ministry added.
