ANEHAJIT Kaur, 18, has started working towards her dream of becoming a Formula One race engineer as she enrolled for a Diploma in Motorsport Technology at Naza College of Technology and Business during its Open Day.

“Ever since I was young, I’ve always been intrigued by the thrilling sounds that F1 race cars make as they speed around the race track.

“Watching F1 races on TV also fills me with excitement.

“One day, I decided that instead of just watching them on TV, I wanted to be a part of the team behind the beautiful yet powerful and precise race cars,” she said.

Anehajit who is from Kuching, scored 8As in the recent Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination.

“After seeing an advertisement on Facebook for the Naza College Open Day, I found out that they had just the right course for me.

“I quickly headed over to enrol. I can’t wait for the semester to start so I can truly feel like I am closer towards achieving my dream of becoming a F1 race engineer,” Anehajit added.

Naza College of Technology and Business CEO Dr Jagdeep Jassel said: “Formula One is no longer just a “man’s world” as more females are taking up an interest in the world of motorsports.”

“Here at Naza College of Technology and Business, we welcome all students with a drive in the automotive industry to help them achieve their dreams.

For those with a passion for the automotive sector, the Naza College of Technology and Business Open Day has been exended.

The remaining dates for the Open Day include March 31 to April 1. Head over to the Naza College of Technology and Business campus at Glenmarie, Shah Alam to kickstart your automotive career.

Naza College of Technology and Business is also reaching out to those living in other states. The college will be having roadshows in Seremban, Mentakab, Klang and Kuantan. The next one will be at Vistana Hotel, Kuantan, from 1pm to 5pm on March 31.

For early-bird registrations during the Open Day and roadshow period, Naza College of Technology and Business is offering a registration and resource fee waiver worth RM1,000.

Among the diploma courses being offered by Naza College of Technology and Business include Diploma in Automotive Technology, Diploma in Automotive Business Management and Diploma in Motorsports Technology.
