THE Institute of Teacher Education’s International Languages Campus will be receiving a grant worth USD68,985 (RM300,000) from Japan to upgrade its language labs and classrooms.

Better known as IPGKBA (Institut Pendidikan Guru Kampus Bahasa Antarabangsa), the facility located next to Universiti Malaya was selected by the Japanese Embassy because it is the sole teaching institute in the country that offers a recognised Japanese language education programme, said Education Minister Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid.
