THE Education Ministry plans to set up a sports school in Kedah as part of an effort to improve the quality of sports, as well as realise the agenda of becoming a sports country.

Its minister Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid said there are currently five national sports schools in the country, namely at Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur; in Johor, Terengganu, Pahang and Sabah.
