SOME teachers leave an indelible mark on their students. Ooi Cheng Hoon, or better known as Mrs Chai, is definitely one of those teachers.

“She was like a very strict mother to all of us. She was very caring and dedicated,” said one of her ex-students Dalina Ismail, at a reunion organised among her schoolmates at Mrs Chai’s home in Kuala Lumpur.
