A celebration of sports


Pupils in the under six category play a friendly netball match as part of the ministry’s One Student, One Sport programme held in conjunction with the National Sports Day last Saturday.

CLOSE to 18,000 students thronged Dataran Putrajaya to celebrate National Sports Day 2016 last Saturday. Bright eyed and bushy tailed, the energetic students were seen taking part in all sorts of activities, ranging from fun games to football, running and cycling.

Deputy Education Minister Datuk P. Kamalanathan launched the ministry’s One Student, One Sport fitness programme, which was held in conjunction with the National Sports Day.
