TAYLOR’s University Graduate School offers prestigious postgraduate funding to outstanding candidates.
To succeed in today’s increasingly dynamic work environment, one must be able to keep abreast with the sea of changes and be able to do research.
High-calibre researchers can choose to pursue a myriad of postgraduate programmes with Taylor’s University’s Graduate School that prepares graduates to become experts in their fields of specialisation.
Students will learn from experienced senior faculty members, industry specialists and pre-eminent guest speakers. The university also provides a good research environment and the funds and grants for interested applicants.
This year, Taylor’s University is offering special scholarships to support both local and international students to succeed in their postgraduate programmes, particularly in their research work.
Financial support is awarded on a competitive basis where assessments include academic achievements, leadership qualities, scholastic aptitude, presentation and writing skills.
The university’s strategic thrusts plays an important part in the granting of these awards.
Among some of the awards offered include the Taylor’s University World Fellowship and Vice-Chancellor Award.

“I hope that we manage to attract some of these highly talented individuals via these scholarships, which will contribute to the betterment of individuals, the community and the nation,” said Taylor’s University Pro Vice-Chancellor of Postgraduate, Research and Strategic Develop-ment Emeritus Prof Datuk Dr Visweswaran Navaratnam.
The Taylor’s University World Fellowship is a prestigious postgraduate funding programme awarded by the University to outstanding postgraduates who have passion for research and demonstrate leadership qualities.
This scheme is offered to full-time academically outstanding local and international PhD candidates on a yearly basis.
This award offers a 100% tuition fee waiver with a monthly stipend and several other allowances.
Students will be bonded to Taylor’s University for three years upon completion of their studies. A written test and interview are necessary to obtain this award.
The coveted Vice-Chancellors Award is given to exceptional Master’s and PhD students, and supports researchers in all areas of studies in the University to instil excellent values among postgraduate students academically and socially.
Award recipients will be expected to devote their efforts to research, expand international exposure and publish articles as well as participate in University events and activities, while getting engaged in various non-academic activities like community activism, charity work or educational services. This award offers a 100% tuition fee waiver with a monthly stipend. Candidates must go through an interview and a written assessment test.
Programmes which are available for the Scholarship include Master of Science, Master of Science in Tourism, Master of Science in Engineering, Master of Philosophy in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences, PhD in Business, Education, Hospitality and Tourism, Science and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
