A Malaysian student was recognised and presented with two awards for her contribution in advocating the rights of international students in the state of Victoria in Australia.

Fang Xuan Koay, 22, won the International Student of the Year (Higher Education) award and the Premier’s Award (International Student of the Year) at a ceremony which recognises outstanding international students at the Victorian International Education Awards 2015, a state government imnitiative.
