Search to cover wider area

Continuing exercise: Dr Ahmad Zahid said the search had been extended now to neighbouring towns.

THE search and rescue operation for the seven Orang Asli students who went missing in Kelantan last month will be extended over a wider area to cover the neighbouring towns, said Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

He said the search area had been extended from the forest to neighbouring towns as the authorities did not rule out the possibility of crime and kidnapping.
