LAUREATE International Universities recently held an exclusive seminar and cocktail reception for undergraduates to meet the representatives from Les Roches International School of Hotel Management and Glion Institute of Higher Education.

The event, which was held at the Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, aimed to give prospective students a clearer idea of the education programme, as well as career development in the hospitality industry.

The seminar was followed by a cocktail reception, which allowed prospective students to meet and learn from alumni.

Switzerland’s specialised business schools offer graduate degrees, and also create unlimited career opportunities in one of the world’s fastest growing job sectors.

Les Roches International School of Hotel Management and Glion Institute of Higher Education are reputed to be among the best, most innovative schools of hospitality business education in the world.

The schools are part of Laureate Hospitality Education (LHE), a group which operates seven institutions around the globe.

At these schools, Swiss hotel management training is integrated into accredited business degrees, giving students unique international transfer options and a global network of recruitment partners.

The reputation of Swiss education is owed to a combination of hands-on learning, internships and business courses which allow students to build managerial competencies and leadership soft skills.

Focusing on business, Glion offers degrees in hospitality management, and event, sport and entertainment management while Les Roches offers graduate and post-graduate degrees in hospitality management, including a new Master’s of Science in Hospitality Leadership.

Both schools are accredited at university level by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, in the United States.
