Kids receive school aid

Helping hand: Zainal Abidin (centre) is happy to help students affected by the floods get back on track with supplies donated by the foundation.

FOLLOWING their visit to flooded areas in Perak, Kelantan, Terengganu and Selangor to hand over donations, in the form of food and clothing, to flood victims, Yayasan Basmi Kemiskinan (YBK) recently returned to Kelantan, specifically to Kuala Krai, to provide assistance to approximately 2,000 pupils in eight schools.

The pupils are currently attending SK Sungai Sam, SK Kuala Geris, SK Seri Mahligai, SK Sultan Yahya Petra (2), SK Biak, SK Sultan Yahya Petra 1 and SK Kuala Krai.
