Varsities not among top 400


A short wait: UM expects to enter the rankings in 2018 when its publications reach a more mature level, says Prof Mohd Amin.

THERE is no specific time frame for Malaysian institutions to break into the top 200 of the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2014-15.

Much work still needs to be done as there are currently no institutions within the top 400, says The World University Rankings editor Phil Baty.
