Yap: Malaysia received many compliments on its education blueprint at the meeting.

MALAYSIA participated in the 2014 Global Education For All Meeting (GEM) held in Muscat, Oman.

The Malaysian delegation was led by Deputy Education Minister Datuk Mary Yap who represented Deputy Prime Minister and Education Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin. Yap was accompanied by Malaysian Commission executive secretary for Unesco Joane Teddy Chian and the Education Ministry’s Educational Planning and Research Division Education For All (EFA) coordinator Norita Koo Abdullah.
