THE Association of Independent Power Producers in collaboration with the Energy, Green Technology and Water Ministry has announced plans for the installation of 5kWp photovoltaic (PV) systems in 100 schools nationwide as part of phase three of the Green Schools Campaign.
Installation of solar panels for the third phase is scheduled to be completed in 2015, resulting in an increase in the total power capacity of all participating schools from the current 190kWp to 690kWp.
