DESPITE having made tremendous progress in improving the quality of its teaching force with 78% of primary school teachers properly qualified, Namibia’s education still faces many challenges.
Its Education Minister Dr David Namwandi speaking at the launch of the Namibia Education Transition Fund (NETF) in the nation’s capital of Windhoek, said that the challenges included gaps in access to early childhood development and pre-primary education.
