PARENTS and students have mixed feelings about the newly announced Skim Prihatin Pendidikan 1Malaysia (SPP1M), a special bank loan scheme to help fund tertiary education.
When launching the scheme on Wednesday, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said the loans are meant to act as “top-up” funding for Malaysian undergraduates and masters students at local and foreign universities.
