Swiss trip for food-loving duo

BOTH learnt to cook from their mothers so it was perhaps no surprise when the team from SMK USJ13 comprising Amalina Allia Ismadi and Luqman Hakim Kairul Annuar were declared the winners of the Power Chef 2011 competition.

Calling themselves Le Cuisiniers, Amalina Allia and Luqman Hakim – who are both Form Five pure science students – were one of the five finalist teams in the competition organised by KDU University College’s (KDU UC) School of Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts.
