IN AN effort towards commercialising more research and development (R&D) findings, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (Utar) and the Malaysian Association for Education (MAE) recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate in research, academic development, student exchanges and mutual visits.
Utar president Prof Datuk Dr Chuah Hean Teik said, “After achieving the excellent teaching university status, the university has redirected its focus to become a research university en route to eventually achieving its mission as a premier university.”
