THE Education Ministry has called for more support from corporate and professional bodies to improve the teaching and learning of English in Malaysia.
Although Malaysians have a better command of English compared to their other ASEAN counterparts – except Singapore – improvements could be made by addressing the disparity in English competency between urban and rural students, Deputy Education Minister Datuk Razali Ismail said.
