Career fair

MULTIMEDIA University (MMU) will be holding its career fair from April 1 to 3 at the university's Cyberjaya campus Multipurpose Hall. The fair will be opened by MMU chancellor Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali.

Representatives from local and multinational companies will be available to highlight job vacancies for candidates and conduct walk-in interviews.

There will be talks and workshops, as well as opportunities for students to network with potential employers.

Fun with cartoons

THE Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre is organising a workshop to teach children techniques in telling stories through cartoons, every Saturday and Sunday, from April 12 till May 4, between 4.30pm and 6.30pm.

The workshop will be conducted by Manuela Chaiffi, a teacher and storyteller trained in speech and drama at the National Theatre School in Italy.

Learn Japanese

THE Australian International Education Conference 2008 will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Australia, from Oct 7 to 10.

Media and CSR seminar

THE Institute of Public Relations Malaysian Students Association and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM)'s Communication and Media Studies faculty will be organising a seminar on “Media and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR): Case of Malaysian TV Networks” on April 5 at the Dewan Annexe, UiTM, Shah Alam, Selangor from 9am to 1pm.
