Down memory lane for alumni members

MEMBERS from the Federation of Kolej Tunku Abdul Rahman (KTAR) Alumni Associations visited Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) for a tour of its campuses recently.  

The 30-strong delegation was headed by federation president Mark Hew Yoon Onn and executive council members. 

The visitors were greeted by UTAR president Tan Sri Dr Ng Lay Swee and senior officials.  

···The delegation toured the Petaling Jaya campus, Bandar Sungai Long campus and Setapak campus.

Hew said the aim of the visit was to gain an insight into the progress and the latest development..  

“We are keen to learn more about the programmes offered, the faculty staff, the facilities and services provided by UTAR.  

“The visit is also aimed at enhancing ties and building strong networking between the KTAR alumni and Utar," Hew added. 

Dr Ng said UTAR and KTAR were sister institutions.  

She also commended the KTAR alumni for their efforts and support given to the university.
