Seven awards for research


UNIVERSITI Malaya (UM) recently bagged seven medals for research projects at the second international Biotechnology Asia exhibition. 

The Biotechnology Asia 2005 Innovation Awards, introduced this year to recognise achievement and innovation in biotechnological research in both private and public research institutes, saw the university taking home two gold medals, three silver medals and two bronze medals.
