The list of requirements demanded by industry gets longer by the day, so much so that not many institutions can claim to offer their students the plethora of skills now required.

However, Stuttgart Institute of Management and Technology’s (SIMT) Business School in Stuttgart, Germany, seems to prioritise these skills. It also offers students the extra advantage of an MBA in an international business culture setting.

The offspring of three universities – University of Stuttgart, University of Hohenheim and University of Tübingen, SIMT is ranked 20th in Europe according to the Global Top 100 Business Schools survey.

It has excellent research facilities and is credited as a think-tank where business input is concerned.

Its location within Baden-Württemberg in the German south-west and close proximity to industrial giants like Daimler-Chrysler, Porsche and Bosch also offers students opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge to real-life with the crème de la crème of industry.

The students not only profit from work experience with these industry giants but also form invaluable networking contacts.

SIMT’s MBA courses are taught in English. The deadline for the next MBA course which begins in September is June 30.
