LONDON's Thames Valley University (TVU) recently held its convocation ceremony for over 190 Malaysian students who received awards for their studies in Music and Information Systems.

The event commenced with a piano recital by Wong See Yee who holds a Fellowship from the London College of Music (LCM).

TVU's vice-chancellor Prof Geoff Crispin awarded the scrolls to graduates in Information Systems while LCM senior examiner Paul Harrison, LCM Examinations Honorary Fellow Elaine Kang and LCM Examinations Director Prof John Howard presented the music graduates with their scrolls.

Prof Crispin congratulated the students and praised the support and encouragement given by parents and families. He encouraged the graduates to strive for higher qualifications which would not only help them reap financial rewards but also allow them to build confidence, realise potential and take better control of their lives.

TVU's regional director for the Asia Pacific region Cliff Condell presented “Best Student Awards” to Jennifer Ng Kuan Hee and Pang Yoke Kee.
