Say yes to reading

ENGLISH Week at SK Seri Bintang Utara in Kuala Lumpur was a fun-filled affair. The theme “ Say YES to Reading “ was aimed at promoting reading among pupils. Ronald McDonald was a special guest during book time. Pupils learnt that books are our best friends. They were taught how to read with expressions too. They also found out the secret to reading is to take care of books. Throughout the week, many activities were held such as nursery rhyme recitations, story telling, public speaking, impersonating book characters contest etc. Language games were also held such as crossword puzzles, quiz, book reviews, essay competitions and a lot more.
