WITH MALAYSIANS comprising over half the foreign student population at Kursk State Medical University (KSMU), one need not go far to hear the familiar sounds of Manglish, or complaints about teh tarik withdrawal. The majority of Malaysian students at this 70-year-old university, located in the eastern part of Russia, are enrolled in its medical course.
A few are also studying dentistry and pharmacy, which, to date, are not yet recognised by the Public Services Department (PSD). Another course with Malaysian enrolment is economics in pharmacy and public health management.
