Idea comes to life


SACRIFICING part of their school holidays to visit a primary school 50km away, five students from SMK (P) Sultan Ibrahim, Johor Baru and their teacher set the wheels in motion for their community project as part of the Maxis-Star Cyberlinq Web-Community Service competition. 

Taking advantage of the two-week break last month, Form Five student Daeng Hamizah Abdul Aziz, 17, led her team comprising Norliana Tambi,17, Lynette Ho Mei Yen,15, Eng Sze Jia,16 and Anuradha Raghu, 16, on a mission to help promote the English language to pupils of SK Tebing Runtoh.
