HELP Institute will hold an open day on Feb 29. Ten interesting forums and seminars will be conducted by experts from various fields. 

Topics include: A Pinnacle Career in Malaysia: Actuary; Engineering: A Degree that Opens Doors; Inside a Stockbroking Company; Psychology in Malaysia; The Changing Phase of the Accounting Profession and many more. Buzz groups, which are special mock lecture sessions, will be conducted by Help lecturers focusing on interesting and useful topics for students.  

In the session on Career Exploration & Decision Making, Gerard Louis, Counselling Psychologist at the Centre for Psychology, will teach students to explore their own values to assist them in choosing an area of study and subsequent career path. 

Help is extending its counselling sessions from 9am to 7pm on weekdays and from 9am to 4pm on weekends, till March 31. 

 

  • TAYLOR’S College will host the annual Open Day for the University of Melbourne, Australia, on March 13 at its campus in Subang Jaya, Selangor. Professors and senior faculty advisers will be on hand to talk to students. 

    There will be talks on Science and Information Systems; Economics and Commerce, Architecture, Building and Planning; Medicine; Dentistry and Health Sciences; Engineering; and Computer Science, and Accounting. 

    The Open Day is scheduled from 10am to 3pm.
