Robots can’t deal with change

I REFER to Ashraff Sanusi’s letter “Rethink education system”, (StarEducation, Dec21). As a student, I totally agree with him that it’s time to revamp the current education system.

The world has changed, but education in Malaysia has not kept pace with the changes. “It worked before, so it should work now” is a common fallacy. To get out of this vicious cycle, some changes have to be made. Instead of playing it safe, we should be playing it smart. Former US president J.F. Kennedy once said: “Change is a way of life, and those who look only into the past or at the present are certain to miss the future.”
