I REFER to the article Addressing Plagiarism in your “Teacher talk” column (StarEducation, Nov 16). Now that Science is studied in English in Year One, Form One and Lower Six, plagiarism is rearing its ugly head in schools.
College and university students copy and paste chunks from the Internet and the Encarta, and school kids are doing the same. Those who read online materials as well as the Encarta regularly would be able to spot materials copied wholesale from these sources.
