IT WAS a lifelong dream to pursue a degree in medicine since a schoolboy but former MIC secretary-general Dr Partiban Krishnan finally completed his Doctor of Philosophy in Complementary and Natural Medicine, awarded by the American University of Hawaii last month.
The 56-year-old’s long educational journey started during a trip to an ashram in India where a religious guru put him through a systematic pranayama (breathing exercise) technique in 1989.
