MORE than 150 school teachers, Education Ministry officials, lecturers, language educators and trainers attended the International Conference on Mastering English for Science and Technology in Achieving Global Competitiveness, held at Help Institute recently.
Held in collaboration with the Education Ministry, International English, Cyberlynx, the University of East London and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), the conference examined the complexities of language and the need for greater language awareness in dealing with practical issues and those related to science and technology.
