Contests to promote understanding of Islam

THE Institute of Islamic Understanding Malaysia (Ikim) is organising a contest on television scriptwriting and radio scriptwriting to promote a better understanding of Islam. 

This is the first time the institute is organising such an event, says its chairman Tan Sri Ahmad Sarji Abdul Hamid. ''The scripts can be in either Bahasa Malaysia or English, and must be original. They cannot be translations or adaptations from other works.”
