Prof Yang Fujia visits Utar

PROF Yang Fujia, a member of Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (Utar) International Advisory Council, and Chancellor of Nottingham University in the United Kingdom, being briefed on the latest developments at the university by Utar president Tan Sri Dr Ng Lay Swee. 

Prof Yang, who was visiting the Utar Petaling Jaya campus earlier this month, said he was impressed with the pace of progress at Utar since his last tour of the campus.  

Utar was established last year with a pioneer intake of about 400 students and enrolment has grown to almost 4,000 students.         

Prof Yang was in Malaysia to attend the 7th World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention.
