I AM writing in response to the letter by Doctor, “We want good doctors” (StarEducation, July 13). I am a pioneer student of Malacca-Manipal Medical College (MMMC). We were supposed to have completed our MBBS course on June 30, but instead we are stuck with having to sit for an exit exam.
Some people think that we are of sub-standard quality and that our college is like a factory, mass-producing doctors who are liable to commit medical negligence. Allow me to set the facts straight on this issue. It is time for everyone to know our side of the story.
