Leo club raises RM1,200 for Iraqi fund

WHEN the Leos of SMK Batu Lapan in Puchong, Selangor, have an objective in mind, they never fail to make it come true. That was exactly what happened on June 21 when the school's Leo Club held its first International Understanding Day in aid of the Iraqis.

Preparations started two months ago and we Leos worked very hard to make our first International Understanding Day a success. There was much to do prior to the event: sending out invitations, printing programmes, organising performances and games, and making souvenirs.
