UCI sponsors paper for 12 schools

TWELVE schools in the Klang Valley received sponsorship from Unity College International (UCI) for a total of 8,300 copies of The Star to be used in the classroom over three months. The effort is part of the UCI-Star-NiE programme to help facilitate the teaching of English to Form Four and Five students.

“It is our responsibility to heed the Government's call to promote the use of English in schools. Newspapers are one of the many useful tools which can be used to do this,” said college principal Albert Lim.
