Despite the good bilateral relations between Germany and Malaysia, the average Malaysian has scant knowledge of the European nation. Hence, to foster deeper understanding between the two countries, DaimlerChrysler, the maker of Mercedes-Benz and Goethe-Institut, have launched an art competition – Germany in Mind/Jerman di dalam Khayalan – to find out more about what Malaysian youth think of Germany.
