If you could change your decision, which institution would you enrol in now?

USM. It’s a very top institution in Malaysia. – Siti Nazrinah, Politeknik Seberang Perai

Unimas. There is a lot of emphasis on research and a good campus environment. – Joey, UKM

UPM. My sister was there. – Han Jer Peng, Unisel

Any private institution; the syallabus has strong links to industry and lectures are conducted in English. – Bernice Kam, UUM

UTM. Good academic reputation and affordability. – Mysara Mohd Zainal, UPM

MMU. Course is based on industry’s demands and very up-to-date. – Mohd Amin Kamis, Pusat Pendidikan Lanjutan (PPJ, UPM)

Why HELP Institute?

It’s near my house, so it’s very convenient and I don’t have to wake up early. – Jason Phoon, 20, BSc in Information Technlogy

I like nothing in the college but it is the only one that offers a psychology double major. – Ashreena Kaur, 22, advertising and psychology double major

I was studying somewhere else, but I didn’t like it so I decided to come to HELP. I’ve heard so much about it. – Siew Wai Mun, 19, to study IT at HELP soon

Why Universiti Malaya?

UM is the best. A lot of my family members studied here, so I know that the standard is guaranteed. Most of the students are hardworking and they are competitive, so it is a good academic culture. – Shahrizim Zulkifly (pic left), 26, MSc in Microbiology

I didn’t apply for UM, they offered me a place, but now I’m glad I came here. The academic standard is high and the social life is not bad. Everyone mixes around. No one cares about race, as long as we study that’s okay. – Devi Peramalah, 24, MSc in Microbiology

It wasn’t my first choice. My first is Universiti Sains Malaysia. I wanted to do mass communication there but they gave me Bachelor of Science in UM. After STPM, I felt that I had to just grab any opportunity I get. Anyway for work now we have to be flexible, so it doesn’t really matter what degree you have. – Chen Fee Chin, 23, BSc in Science and Technology Studies
