An architect plans houses and buildings, an engineer builds bridges, while a doctor heals the sick. So what does a teacher do? A teacher builds minds, moulds characters, and lays the foundation that enables her students to be successful, both in their lives and their jobs.
When you enter a class of 30 to 40 students, you are faced with a sea of faces, a motley of characters, and a mixed bag of brains. You size up the situation and then start your lesson. You are challenged because although every class is different, every year brings new individuals, and lessons vary, your goal remains the same you must impart knowledge that will arm these students who are under your care with confidence to take up the challenges of the world when they leave school.
