Engineers’ feast of feats

THE recent KDU Engineering Exhibition 2003 is a testament to the powerful combination of quality engineering programmes and state-of-the-art facilities offered by KDU College and its partner universities.

Among other things, visitors were fascinated by an Automated Egg-Frying Machine, Auto Intelligent Isolate Group Machine and Automated Radio Frequency Train Washing System.

The displays also impressed visitors from Sirim who commented on the innovative and practical inventions of KDU's engineering students.

Another activity which the School of Engineering takes part in is the annual Robot Games Festival. Organised and sponsored by the Science, Technology and Environment Ministry, the festival aims to generate interest among Malaysians in robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

Activities scheduled include a robot contest, robot clinics, drawing contest, exhibitions and seminars.

The KDU College PJ campus will play host to the Survival Robot Workshop in September.
