I WOULD like to respond to a variety of issues raised and comments carried in the StarEducation on April 20.
I will start first with Mary Eu's Teaching not for the faint-hearted” (Let's hear it). I subscribe to her interpretation of the purpose of teaching in the education system as going beyond imparting knowledge to meeting the wider objective of moulding the future leaders of society.
