THE International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) plans to double its intake of foreign students to 30% to reinforce its status as a leading centre of higher education in the Muslim world.
At present, about 15% of the 16,000 students at IIUM are from foreign countries, its acting deputy rector for academic affairs Dr Mohamed Azmi Omar said.
