THE BEST... Students from SM Hamid Khan, SM Haji Zainal Abidin and SM Georgetown were full of praise for the 12 Barisan Nasional elected representatives who are sponsoring a total of 34,000 copies of The Star for their schools and 17 others in Penang. 

The group of three Penang state executive councillors, eight assemblymen and one Member of Parliament from the MCA, Umno and Gerakan have pledged a total of RM20,400 for the newspaper to be given free to the students over a period of 10 months for English lessons.
