KDU girl wins USM ad contest


LINITHA Venugopal emerged the winner of the Adwave 2003 Competition organised by Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in Penang recently. She is a KDU College Mass Communications student doing her final year at Murdoch University in Australia. 

Adwave is an annual project organised by the Final Year Persuasive Communication Students of USM, since 1997, to serve as a platform for the exchange of ideas among students and professionals as well as to expose students to the world of advertising, promotions and communication research. This year’s event, entitled Voyage of the Senses, attracted hundreds of entries.
