TAR College grants for SPM students

TAR College is offering merit scholarships to top scorers for SPM/SPMV exams. There is no need to apply for the scholarships. Students’ eligibility for scholarship will be considered upon their application for admission to the college.

Scholarship recipients would be given the scholarship offer letter together with the offer letter of admission.

Eligibility is based on the students’ SPM/SPMV results. Full scholarship is awarded to those who obtain nine As or more in the SPM/SPMV exams and four As or more in the STPM/A-Level exams; while 75% scholarship is awarded to students who score eight As in the SPM/SPMV and three As in the STPM/A-Level exams.

Half scholarship is awarded to students with seven As in the SPM/SPMV, who register at branch campuses.

The scholarships cover the tuition fee, registration fee and special administration fee (if applicable) only.

For the 2002/03 academic year there were 717 recipients – with 297 students given 100% scholarships, 266 students 75% scholarships and 154 students 50% scholarships.

Since 1997, 2,349 students have received the TARC merit scholarships.
