THE Centre for Continuing Professional Education at TAR College will be conducting a course on The Management of Safety and Risk on March 5 and March 6 for safety practitioners and those who have an active responsibility in managing health and safety in the workplace, especially in the management and assessment of risk, and accident investigation. Nottingham charity bazaar 

 

THE University of Nottingham in Malaysia (UNiM) and Nottingham Graduates Association Malaysia will hold a charity bazaar next Saturday to raise funds for charity. The two main beneficiaries will be Universiti Malaya's Paediatric Intensive Care Unit and the Women’s Aid Organisation.  

The bazaar, to be held from 10am to 5pm at the UNiM campus in Jalan Conlay, Kuala Lumpur, will feature a treasure hunt, food stalls, handicraft, household items, and games stalls.  

BookFest at Mid Valley today 

THE Malaysian Book Industry Council is holding a BookFest today from 10am to 9pm at Hall 3, Mid Valley Exhibition Centre at Mid Valley Megamall in Kuala Lumpur. The book festival will feature reference texts and multimedia materials to support the teaching of Mathematics and Science in English for Standard One, Form One and Lower Six classes.  

TAR College Open Day 

TUNKU Abdul Rahman College's Open Day at its main campus in Kuala Lumpur, and five branch campuses (Penang, Perak, Johor, Pahang and Sabah), will be on from Feb 26 to March 9, 10 am to 5pm daily. Activities include a talk on Parents' Role in Children's Career Development by Universiti Malaya's Prof Dr Chiam Heng Keng at 2pm on Saturday in Kuala Lumpur.
